Default Speeding tickets in Canada?

I got a speeding ticket while in Canada around New Year's and am just wondering if anyone knows if this information will get back to the United States (i.e. my insurance company, U.S. driving record, etc.). Anyone have any idea?

TIA.

Default Canadian and US authorities do NOT have a reciprocity agreement.

This may be a state-by-state deal, but the state of Oregon and Canada do not share info on Speeding tickets. How do I know? I received two tickets in British Columbia while on a three week driving tour... didn't have the V-1 then.

:-(
