Default Sounds great - make the best of it (you never told me if you'd been to Thaiphoon).

Default If I went to Temple Law, could I be an intern for Ms. Counselor (Jill)? :)

Default I'm sorry. No we haven't yet. It seems that there are more restaurants than grocery stores in town

I miss having a good market to get really high quality ingredients from, but the choices when it comes to dining out are endless. There were 3 new restaurants that opened last week alone, all of which sounded interesting. The bad part is that I am very critical about the details of food. It makes eating out no where near as much fun as doing it myself. I just want for a bigger kitchen. And more time to cook.

Default Ahhhh.... a great kitchen makes a great home........

We're in a bidding war now for a house nearby that has a gorgeous professional "stadium kitchen". Thermadore range built into a huge granite topped island which is practically in the living room. The cabinetry is beautiful and the cookspace flows seemlessly into the living space. A two way fireplace also sits about 20 feet away. I couldn't have designed a better kitchen.

Thaiphoon is fantastic. Well worth the trip out to Scottsdale. I've eaten at a few "famous" Thai restaurants including Tommy Tangs in L.A. and New York and Thai is by far my favorite cuisine. Thaiphoon blew Tommy Tangs out of the water. The interior design (architecture & lighting) is also very interesting and vibrant. If you like Thai food, give it a shot.

Default My passion is Itailan. But I have a strange sense of taste and I don't do traditional very well.

I have a design for a home that we hope to build, with the kitchen being very much a "professional" workplace like I learned to cook in. Somehow I end up with a lot of feeling in everything I cook. My wife laughs at me because I still do presentation with nearly every dish. PB&J gets a sprig of parsley, and divided with a lightning-bolt shape cut.
I hope you do well in your home acquisition
