Default My Passport Solo radar detector just saved me big time...

A couple of days ago, I was driving in a residential area, approaching a sweeping curve. These streets are the kind of wide, winding types that we like.

As I approached the curve, my Solo lit up like a son of a gun. I slowed and sure enough there was a motorcycle officer standing there with a radar gun. I wasn't really flying, but without the detector I would have been toast.

Also, had he not clocked someone ahead of me, I probably would have still gotten nailed, detector or not, as with instant on radar there would have been no signal until he pushed the switch to turn it on.

Default Passport 8500 is $150.00 less,and arguably a better radar...(I know I just opened up Pandora's box!)
