Could someone with the Saris Bones bike rack on their coupe tell me how the hell to mount it correctly?
Thanks, Apurva 01 225QC |

I've no idea...my rack is the standard Audi/thule rack which mounts on the roof...
I've never had anything but trouble with the racks that hang off the back of a car (save the ones that drop into a 2" receiver). -Dale

to work. It's a temporary solution until I get the Audi OEM roofie. I think there's a "-" in the link you omitted. It should be:
http://www.saris-products.com/racks/805.html Dont want to miss out on any great fall riding with my shiny new Rocky Mountain Oxygen Race MTB. /A |

I haven't actually used it yet (sorry).
A) I never seem to have the time to set it up right (shouldn't be hard, but I want to be d*mn careful nothing will slide) B) I still hate the idea of anything sitting on my trunk lid C) the roof rack don't work on a TTR :-) So far, I've taken advantage of my wife's TTC which has the roof rack, so we just put the bike on that and take her car. Someday I'll break down and try the Bones on my TTR, but it's looking like next Spring at this point. I promise will post pics when that happens, but won't be anytime soon... |
