Default PES may be as good as APR's new turbo kit! Check out what Gary emailed me...

Hello Pat,
We are still finishing up the transverse kit. The longitudinal kit is making
287 hp.
We are expecting the same from the transverse.
We are going to offer an upgrade that will include intercooler, exhaust,
programming ect.
We are still working on getting the price of this kit, most likely it would
run around $3599.
We are going to be coming out with our own short shifters.
Give us a call when you get the chance, let us know if you have any further
questions.
Thank you,
Gary, PES, LLC

Default 900 pounds lighter than what? an S4?

if they can get 300+ out of their kit with my FMIC and exhaust - I may buy into it
otherwise I'm waiting for APR

Default Pic of the basic kit coming soon (without FMIC/exhaust upgrade)..

Gary spoke with me today and says it will be around 287hp on a TT, rather than the 265hp as advertised.

Default well - my passat weighed around 3K so I don't think thats right

it was a 99
the new one weighs almost identical to the 225 TT
right around 3100-3200 pounds

Default Any Dyno pics - not that I doubt the HP but I'd like to see the power curve and torque figures

with the size of turbo they are using, the hp figure is right, but i'm concerned about lag and the torque curve.
