Default Do a search in the B5 forum lots of info. I am going to put one in by next summer after I am

full stage 3. I'll be full stage 3 by summers end this year but my wallet will be strained.

I hear lots of good things about it. They just had a group buy from VAST for their kit.

Default Do it! I have a Snow Performance kit on my car - def runs better IATs and timing.

I don't have a timing log graphed, but I think that I was ~10º without the meth and 18º with. Here is an IAT log:

Poor resolution as VAG-COM is all I have to work with - and RPM scale is not accurate across all runs (temp is though).

Default Usually meth kits are used to supplement a system that is less than adequate (i.e. if you

are unable to install large enough intercoolers, drop compression to a low enough level, etc.) They can certainly be used in conjunction with a functioning system though.

Default Make sure you have someone who can properly tune it.

I gave it a shot for a while, it definatly got my AITs down. But I couldn't... or I should say I'm not confident enough to really tweak it myself. I had issues w/ my car running lean. It also started having cold start symptoms again, except without the starting part. I just couldn't shake the idle surges. Spoke w/ ASP who said they could tune it, I just never got around to it. Ultimatly I just ended up ordering bigger intercoolers(ERs), a lot less hassle and safe for the motor.
