Default ABS Pump Update #3...fark!

Ran out to pick up my replacement ABS pump. Parts friend brings me the unopened, but highly taped up box. He wants me to open it so I know how it arrived from the parts depot. Obviously he was a little worried (so was I) as the box had been previously opened and taped.

So, we open the box and find shredded packing and the pump loose in the box. I notice a nice dent in the aluminum housing in the corner.

He half-heartedly tried to convince me it was fine even pulling the plugs to prove it had never been connected. I politely declined and told him to get a replacement as I'm not paying $800 for a part that looked remotely damaged.

Sigh...another few days of waiting...

But I should look on the bright side...here's what's waiting for me tonight...tranny swap on the G60 Corrado! Weeeeeee...

Don't worry...I'll have supervision...

Default I always wanted a yellow or red Corrado... had a Scirocco 16V and 2 GTi's, but never the Corrado.

Default Son's car...it's a work in progress as all Corrado's are...

G60 with about 105k on the clock. Will be going in for a fresh paint job soon.

Car came out of Texas so it has zero underbelly rust. Really clean car...and man does it handle great!

I love the aero kit on your car. I keep telling him not to do that as the car is still 100% stock. But they look so bad-a$$ with the body kits.

Default Tell me about it. I regret it every day.

Unfortunately, I needed the money for the A4 at the time, and my aging 80q was not getting it done.
