Default Any idea if the RNS-E Nav system is compatible with a 2000 A6 4.2?

Also, any other important observations/ things that I should be aware of??

Default Thanks !! Awesome info....was almost ready to pick up a used unit

until I read the part about the color mismatch. I hadn't thought about that at all...it would look ugly with a color difference...

Default Please don't let that stop you... it is not very noticable...

and is certainly not a reason to decide against it. If you take a flash picture of the color difference, it will look 10X worse than just looking with your naked eye. Can you tell it is different... sure. But it is no big deal, honest.

Besides, you can just find a climate control on ebay, or used somewhere else if it bothers you that much. Small cost compared to the whole package.

Default I would assume at least $800 and this one does not come with NAV DVD or cables, etc.

Default You can fix the color mismatch with black shoe polish (seriously)

On that website A6Fanboi posted, someone figured out how to match the RNS-E to the older color scheme using a shoe polish sponge.
