Default i have a new birthday.....lots of pics.....i think its the worst day of my life.

all happened within a span of 3 seconds.......felt like 3 years. happened on the way to julian with Robert "chipchase" in front of me. a truck came into my lane went right to avoid him then there was a wall/hill on the right, swerved left to avoid it, by that time there was a hairpin turn on the right....and then.....

going right now to my dads shop to take off the coilovers, rims, grill, etc. surprisingly, the rims are fine and all were still holding air. i hit a tree on the driver side, then rear hit another tree on the passenger side. no front damage what so ever from the front doors on except the mirrors. as you can see roof is crumpled and there is some frame damage. i think im gonna take a long bath and wait for it to really hit me cause right now im literally in tears. hope your day is better than mine.

Default Remember - you are OK and its only a car....

The best news is that you are able to write a note to us and have the capacity to worry about the car. As the days pass, you can reflect on the event and think about future strategies to be an even better defensive driver in the face of the challenges we encounte on the road everyday.

For now, try and relax - rejoice in the knowledge of your good health... do some yoga stretches - 'cause you will hurt tomorrow. Thank goodness you were in an Audi. I was a police officer for a few years (in another life time - or so it seems), and these kinds of accidents would aften result in really mangled young people - especially in Jeep CJ's and Wranglers - which were/are the rage on Cape Cod.

Peace,
Eric

Default Oh man, that is really sad! Glad you are OK. Did anybody get the truck's plate?

Be sure you get medical attention soon, even if you are only a little stiff and sore.
