I've been looking around for an A4 or A6 and came across this A6 through autotrader. Let me know if you think it's worth going to look at. Seems like a decent price, but unlike most of the inventory there's not a picture of the actual car. I'll have to call them tomorrow. Thanks for the input.[list][*]http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/id...07366&car_id=1

Price sounds like a mistake. I bought the same car in June from a DC dealer with 24,000 miles and Audi Certified for 30,500.....

Assuming car is in excellent condition, price is about wholesale. Lot of miles. If that were the dollar bracket I was trying to stay within I would personally be looking at a 2.8, not as fast but looks the same. You can probably get one with much lower mileage, maybe even still in warranty.

Used car dealer don't make money selling cars for 2/3 market value. Blue book wholesale is low $20's, so you've got some margin for repairs; but if the trans or turbos are cooked, its still a turkey. Salvage car? Flood car? Who knows? Carfax it for sure.

Hence, the price. Sure, it probably has some issues, but for the price you can do some repairs or mods and still come out ahead. The most important thing is maintenance. If it checks out, it could be a great buy. You might even get it cheaper. Just don't look at as a car that you can drive without putting some money into.
