as there are several pieces involved. If you really want the xenons, find a car that has 'em.

is not the only dealership with left over '02's.
I went to Fla from NY to buy my car. It depends upon your deal. If you really want the xenons, and its going to cost you some considerable cash to purchase xenon headlamp units and get them installed, you might find it easier to go someplace else and spend the same money to pick up car with the xenons, and not have to worry about the job getting done right. I bought my car from Fla because I absolutely needed to get a Nemo Blue A6. But, that's just me. Where there's a will, there's a way.

You need the ballasts and headlight assembly. I once priced the headlight assembly when mine were damaged by rocks and the price was about $600 each, from the dealer. You could probably find them cheaper from either a discount parts supplier or wrecking yard.

Rather than trying to retro fit a solution. Don't forget that in addition to the money spent on a conversion, you will spend significant amount of your time trying to make it work since there is no pre made solution. My time is worth more than that. Good deals are out there and the majority of the cars will have the xenons, so find another car that has them. And by the way, my 2000 2.7T had to have xenons and a manual and I went to NJ to get it from DC. Its worth waiting for the car with the options you want. Ask youreslf how much money is it worth saving if everytime you turn on your headlights and you realize you don't have xenons? I know I will never buy another car for me or my family without them.

![]() As far as I know, I am the only one on this forum who has added the OEM Xenon housings to a car which originally came with halogens. If you go aftermarket, you'll only get the bulbs and ballasts...but not the HID optics/projectors. The projectors are a key component to how the Xenon light is transmitted. Drop me an email and I'll fill you in on how I did it. Good luck!
