Hey whats up everyone. I was looking at these springs for a 2002 a6 3.0 Quattro "Progressive Rate H&R Lowering Springs" made by h&r. Does anyone here have experience with these springs and are you happy with the results?

1. The stock shock are not well matched to the springs.
2. The labor for doing the springs is 95% of what you need to do the shocks also. If it is a $$ issue, wait until you can offord both, or don't do it

everyone here; I personally stuck with stock shocks but feel that ride/handling would be better with it; the car now feels underdamped with 18"s and Eibach pro-kit.
Eibach claim that their spring works with stock shocks but didn't specified which shock, sport or non-sport. I would definitely think non-sport shocks would not be efficient but the factory sport shocks I heard are pretty good and heavy duty to begin with so that should be fine. Unless you are really on a tight budget; you would spend a lot more if you change your mind and have to pay two installation labors. If I start all over again, I would get on a good term with my service rep to retain my warranty and install the coilover kit. |
