Default Road HP??

Can anyone explain what is road hp and the regular hp that we normally refer to, like the 2.7T w/ 250HP.

Default Road vs. crank...

Crank (SAE net) is what is quoted.

Road is what is actually delivered (to the road or dyno) after drivetrain losses (extra friction, etc.).

Default That 250 HP is at the crankshaft. Deduct all losses in tranny, diff, etc. to get road HP.

Default for audi quattro cars, assume 15% loss from crank to wheels.

Default tip chip may make tranny shifting quicker. no power is gained.
