Default Are they actually running a 14V battery? Or is this a typo?

Default Has anyone seen the optional Carbon Fiber Interior Trim inserts to replace Poplar Wood Inserts that

the RS6 video testers (Kabel1 video program)commented were not as high quality as the trims in M5 and E55 AMG? Hopefully carbon fiber looks better quality and nicer.

Pity the beautiful Recaro seats (with non-slip leather!) are not offered. What kind of support will the regular A6 sports seats give when you have to use the added performance capabilties of the RS6? AoA should have brought in an RS6 for a promotional event, invite us to test drive it and then send it for crash testing to get the Recaro seats approved for the US market. Or get buyers to sign a disclaimer if we want the Recaros... well, maybe not.

I couldn't see any 19" wheel/tire options for this type of high performance car that I think are available in Europe.

Audi is still listing 0-60mph (0-100km/h)performance at 4.6 sec. Kabel1 video testers got only 5.5 sec for 0-100 with the RS6 against the E55AMG and M5 (see video in my Oct 15 post and translation of commentary in my latter post). EVO mag testers (Oct 2002) couldn't break 5 sec for 0 to 60.

Otherwise the rest of the package looks very good. AoA needs to make better RS6 color choices than they have made for the A6 recently, given the great range of Audi colours available to the Europeans.

Thanks, for this very helpful info!

Default The color choices are the same as those in Europe...plus CF looks like ass anyway...

I'll definitely be going for either the poplar or the piano black...carbon fibre looks like plastic...cheesy...I saw Len Hunt's 911 with the carbon package ($8000 in CF...yeah, right)...and it looked like the crap that ricers stick inside their Civic Si-s...

No offense to anyone with CF but I just think it looks cheap...if you like it, screw what I say!

Default I second that and I am a LORD of the stuff

I'm looking for the Piano black or Grey Birch like the S8 has.

CF trim always looks like fake trim weather real or not. Better for the Honda/Acura crowd, not German super sedans.

Default WOW! I never thought YOU would agree! Good for keeping things light and strong...

not to decorate the interior of a fine automobile!

Default OK. NO Carbon Fiber ricermobile unLORDed. NO Poplar Wood "not complete as high quality as Mercedes

and BMW." That leaves the piano black then... I wish I could see an RS 6 in each trim.

Ricer? Finman, we have to send you for orientation in a Honda Factory in Japan for a month, before sending you to Ingolstadt.
