*** WARNING/DISCLAIMER *** - Coding your Transmission Control Module outside of documented values may have undesireable effects. Coding of your Transmission Control Module is done enitrely at your own risk.
I found some new valid soft coding values today! The first bit of news is that the "features" seem to be set by a value of the "decimal" digits instead of the digits of the 2's complement value (like when coding the convenience controller). The second bit of news is that the value of "00032" combines the two "features" that I discovered last week: "00002" - stock coding "00012" - [feature 1] "Sport Mode" "00022" - [feature 2] 1st can be held till redline in Tip mode So we can now add: "00032" - [feature 3] combines the behaviors of coding values of "00012" and "00022" The third bit of news is that the "thousands" digit can be coded to "0" (stock) or "1". What still eludes me is what (if any) new behavior this introduces. So far I found four valid values with the "thousand's" digit set to "1". They are: "01002", "01012", "01022" and "01032. As far as I observered, they behave just like their counterparts with the thousand's digit set to "0" which is good news... we just need to figure out what new behavior we get! To summarize, here is a chart that I intend to keep up to date. ![]() /dan |
