Default Today, an R8 blew by my 4.2 like it was standing still, no lie....

Actually, my car WAS standing still....
Below is my car, and behind it is an Audi Sport A6 with Michigan plates.
Scroll right to see the R8 -->

Today, San Jose hosted an event to create publicity for the ALMS at Monterey
this weekend. About 8 cars were on display, with drivers signing autographs
and answsering questions, followed by a mock race around Cesar Chavez park, making
about 10 laps at what seemed like up to 100 mph merely 3 feet from me. Panoz started in the lead,
with Audi behind, and there was only one short spot to pass: right at the
"pits". Near the end, Jan Magnussen of Panoz eased off the throttle, allowing
Tom Kristensen to pass and finish in first.

Afterwards, drivers signed autographs on a poster for the race. Tom Kristensen
signed the only thing I had handy, my A6 owners manual. He wrote, "You bought
the best!"

Default Panoz has the LMP-07s out now?

Those don't look like the old LMP-01s to me. Am I just crazy?

Chris and I will be there Saturday and Sunday at the Audi hospitality area. We'll visit the corral on Sunday morning. Which parking area will the corral be located in? Turn 5?
