![]() Last year my brother passed away and I was forced to sell my stage 3. I tried replacing it with a stage 2+ which was fun but nothing like the stage 3. I owned it for a short time then sold it due to a move to California. After spending 7 months in San Diego I decided to head back home to Colorado. Ever since I've been home, I've been wanting to get a fun car for twisty roads. I spent about 2 months researching different types of cars to buy. I thought I wanted to buy a newer B6-7 S4 but that V8 motor is anything but exciting. Then I test drove a STI and was incredibly disappointed with it so the search continued. I searched, searched and searched, but nothing really interested me. I love the B5 S4's so I resorted back to them, obviously I love these cars I've owned 4 previously. For what I am looking a 5th and final B5 S4 stage 3 would be perfect (not a daily driver). I was hoping to find a documented, well maintained and low mileage S4. I found several S4's that caught my interest but none were quite what I really wanted. I had a specific criteria in mind but still couldn't quite find the right one. Then I randomly came across a Nogaro 01.5 1 owner from Mi. I was a bit thrown off and reluctant to pursue it because of it being from a salt state. But after about 3 weeks and exchanging nearly 50 emails I decided it was the one. It had all that I wanted and even though it is from mi it has been well cared for, always garaged, low mileage and looks excellent. I couldn't have asked for a better seller, car and price. I flew out to Detroit last friday, Jordan picked me up from the airport (-7 degrees) and the car was as advertised. I paid him and did my best to get out of the cold and drove to St Louis. Stayed with family for a week and made the 900 mi trek back to Boulder yesterday. I made it back safely as JD told me it would. Now its time to drop it off at Avalon Motorsports in Denver for some basic service and to have Brian do a Altitude tune. I can't wait for some more warm sunny days and to get my new GSD3's installed on the superlaggeras A special thanks goes out to Doc Slow (Jordan D), I appreciate the help, car and ease of working with you.
