Used S4 from Audi Dealer

Used S4 from Audi Dealer
As I mentioned in another post, I'm looking at buying a used S4 from an Audi dealer. Would they be able to pull up the service and repair history on the vehicle for me? It's got 45k miles on it, and they are asking $19.9. Does that seem like a fair price or a bit high?
I've found an extended warranty for $2k that is exclusionary and will cover the car for another 50k miles, am debating that purchase as well...
Any insight would be appreciated.

Depends on your intentions
When I bought mine in Jan 2005, it was from an Audi dealer, CPO warranty for 2yr\100,000, for 23,500. That was with full service records from an audi dealer which were always performed on time.
Seemed like a good idea at the time, until I got into it and realized this car loves to be and needs to be modded. I had basically completely voided my warranty within months of the purchase. Looking back on it, I probably would've went for a cheaper, not warrantied, higher mileage (50-60K) S4 and just mod it from the start. Immediately start with 60K service (timing belt\water pump), and just Stage 3 the bitch

NO EXTENDED WARRANTY!
My wife's TT came with one when we bought the car. It was the best warranty the company had, and when the we tried to use it (the timing belt broke), they said that even though all the broken parts were covered, they only pay for the initial failure and not parts that were subsequently damaged. So they offered to pay $300 to replace the belt. Also, there was a $50 limit on hourly labor. PLUS they didn't cover labor for tear down. So, if a gear in the transmission broke, they would pay to replace the gear but not to take the transmission out and put if back it.
Save the 2k. Use it to do a timing belt change and perform all maintenance. You'll be much better off...

19.9 not bad for 45k, I had to pay about the same on a Avant......
56K, higher then I wanted to spend. But since I've been looking for a clean B/B 6speed for 2yrs+ I couldn't let it go..
Oh, and I've already started buying part for mods.
This is my second 2.7t based car (A6 last time), the 1st one I left the motor alone. Not going to happen this time
