Default Re. The world's most powerful S4 from Poland. Please post specific questions in this thread.

I will encourage Arek and Michal to sign up and field the questions. They were also curious on how the Americans would react to their work.

Please keep this thread serious. PW'ing or unnecessary comments will be deleted.

Also, words of encouragement or constructive criticism is welcome. Thanks!

Default Nice pioneering work with low budget! Q's about autronic if you still use it

On the article Chris Ostberg wrote "The factory gauge cluster, however, remains albeit with the addition of exhaust gas temperature, oil pressure, and boost gauges where the center vents would normally reside"

1. I thought Autronic did not have a plug and play solution for S4 yet, so how did you wire the stock gaugepanel?

2. Do you use stock sensors or autronic sensors?

3. What components are you going to change when revving it to 10000 rpms ?

4. were the old S4 half shafts plug and play?

Default I've used autronic on many cars....

Few notes on your questions 1 and 2...

Most of the factory bosch sensors can be retained when installing autronic on a vag car.

The Autronic ecu can put out a digital rmp signal which can be easily wired into your gauge cluster (may need a ~$90 adaptor). You shouldnt have to do much of anything to retain the rest of the guages (speedo, gas, ect).

Default And, it can drive the eTB or do you need to revert to a convertional throttle cable?

Default The Polish car is cable driven. I'm not sure if Autronic is DBW capable.

Default I'm curious as to when each part they changed (if they made the build iterative) was the barrier.

In other words, we made 550hp on stock rods, 650 on pistons, etc. Also, what are the specs on the heads? Have they been flowed?

Lastly, and changes to the driveline to accomodate the mad powaz.
