Default Is there anyway to tap into the factory EGT sensors for Zeitronix?

Default iirc you plug that in by the ecu .. i remember seeing a diagram/pic of all the wires/colors

i first thought you were going to try and replace the wideband with the stock egt sensor.

Default Nope!

Zeitronix uses K-Type thermocouples (Ni-Cr/Ni-Al), factory EGT sensors are N-Type thermocouples (Ni-Cr-Si/Ni-Si). They're not compatible.

If you want to read the factory EGT sensors, you'll need to tap into one of both the outputs from the EGT electronic modules (at the back of the intake manifold) and read it as a 0-5v signal. 4.8v is 1035 degrees, 0.1v is 945. They don't read anything below 945 by the way.

HTH,

Mihnea
