PSA: MBC only is not bad at 70-85% throttle all the way to redline *on my car* (YMMV?)

I went ahead and tested this yesterday by watching ECUx in gauge view from passenger seat while my brother Noah drove. It was smooth as butter, ECUx throttle position gauge was showing between 70% and 80% throttle all the way to redline, sometimes up to 85% as we did several pulls (mostly 2nd gear). I chose to have Noah drive while I logged because Noah is very used to driving an S4 with N75 control and gets into throttle more than me during daily driving...and he's not a logging whore like me (although I didn't actually log, just watched gauge view).

Take that, MBC only haters! And on that note, my EBC is still sitting here looking for a new home. ;p

Plus, I think I talked him out of it. For the $$, not much that can compare. The only thing he really dislikes about it is the cat-back...same *exact* one as you. ;-)

Partial throttle does not cause jerkiness in my setup. K04, MBC only x-chip

Also remember we're tricking the ECU with homebrew so it doesn't know what's going on as well as a kit, could cause some funny stuff once in a while. I'm happy, done with trying to convince others they should be or not be happy as we're all different.

MBC only is perfect for me...YMMV.* Also remember we're tricking the ECU with homebrew so it doesn't know what's going on as well as a kit, could cause some funny stuff once in a while. I'm happy, done with trying to convince others they should be or not be happy as we're all different.
