Default Apexi Update !

Ok I did the N249 Delete what do you guys think?
Still no change in boost it still moves around a lot. I will say this part throttle is mucher better with this N249 Delete!!! What I did do is attempt to get boost stable in 4th gear. I picked this gear because I had the highest load where I could watch the Boost guage and Apexi at the same time. I suceeded in getting stable boost in this gear, but not in 3rd. I also check on my INJ Duty cycle theory on the Apexi, that value hardly moves at WOT it reads about 50% at idle 48-49% so sratch that idea. I have a strong feeling it has to do with Duty cycle. For example my target boost is 1.55 KG/CM2 and my duty cycle is 65% and I STILL overshoot .. Anymore ideas? I tried setting the start duty for 3rd at -3% it helps a little .. I will continue to play with the duty cycle until I find a setting that works.. This is irratating to a extreme degree.

Default if you are using 4th gear to set your boost curve, 3rd gear should be a (+) not (-) ...

- higher gears have more load so it doesn't make any sense that the start duty adjustment would be lower for 3rd

- if I can remember my start duties correctly it is something like the following (and I got the curve set on 3rd not 4th)

Start Duty
1st - just left it blank (no point)
2nd - +2
3rd - 0 (as this is the gear that I used to set up the car)
4th - (-3/-5)
5th - (-8/-12)

I give a range for 4th and 5th as when I set up the car I set program A as a 20psi program and Program B as a 25psi tapering to 22psi (with higher boost I found it was necessary to decrease the Start Duty more in 4th and 5th so as not to overshoot)

Default Does the gear learn thing work for a tip? If you are using it, turn it off for 3rd and see if that

helps. I had the same problem for 2nd gear on my ride.

<img src="http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y15/blk01s4/DOC060614_p3.jpg">

Some new info some old I did notice in the doc it says, if you have the F/B speed to high it says it causes oscillation. going to try turning it down since I am on setting 8 or turn it off all together.
