I installed the AVCR last weekend, and been trying to get it work the way it should but have some issues.
here is some background, all the wires hooked up correctly, since i can see boost, rpm, throttle and speed. and on the vac lines i did used all three from N75, wastegate to COM, boost to NO and ambient temp to NC and i have checked like 4~5 times all the lines are secured. Here is the symptoms, boost is not as stable as i was running MBC alone, it would spike to where i set it to, then as rpm goes up, and it starts to taper and it would bounce up and down in the range of 2~3psi. *Oh i have done the learning part, let the unit learns itself on the duty cycle* Here is the setting i am shooting for: 3k 1.55kg/cm^2 4k 1.55kg/cm^2 4.5k 1.50kg/cm^2 5k 1.50kg/cm^2 5.5k 1.45kg/cm^2 6k 1.45kg/cm^2 6.5k 1.40kg/cm^2 7k 1.40kg/cm^2 I am trying to achieve 22psi spike and taper to 20psi! Please help Poor Ah10 on this one! Thanks a bunch

cuts your boost.
What I do is observe the actual duty cycle of the solenoid and try to look at the boost gauge at the same time. Once I get an idea of what solenoid DC needs to be for each RPM range, then I adjust in a duty cycle curve. If you can get DC within ~8% of where it has to be for each rpm range to give the desired boost, the controller learns a lot faster. You don't have to dial in a DC curve if you don't want to, it will still learn without that, I just got impatient.

I'm looking at this controller to replace my profec B. My wastegate is a pos and needs a controller that has variable DC over the rpm band. My only worry is that the 500rpm res is too coarse, I ideally would like something that has a 200rpm res. If the autolearning fills in those "gaps" I would probably jump on this controller sooner than later. TIA

and also adjusts dc in increments smaller than 1%. If I roll on the throttle in 6th where rpms climb slower, you can see it making a million adjustments within a 500 rpm window.

The profec B only has one wastegate DC setting, and it uses it across the whole rpm band and across all gears. 42% at 3k is 21psi, but only 14psi at 7k. Makes for terrible boost curves.
