Default Break in period for new turbos?

Is there a break in routine for K04s?

what is reccomended? Thanks!

Default I'm a little conservative and I like to put at least two full hot/cold heat cycles on the motor...

and checking the computer before going *much* into positive boost. This way you know that you don't have any fluid or air leaks.

A turbo is a finely machined instrument. If it wasn't machined propertly, no break-in is going to help it...

Also, new clutch? Take'er easy a bit. Get a tank of gas underneath it before wailing it.

Default I was told that turbos need no break-in period, but clutch does (500 mi).

Default I would recommend at least one full heat cycle before going 100%.....

i think KKK just says let them get up to operating temp before any load.
