Default Apexi question

I am helping someone install an Apexi AVCr and we got speed and RPM connected. However TP seems illusive, I tried the Gray yellow wire with a volt meter which I believe is pin 35 comes up with .001 off the throttle .002 on the throttle. Also tried pin 33 & 36 no such luck the AVCr cant seem to find the proper input. The arrow in the setup is pointing to the top right also tried bottom left .. How are you guys connecting TP input?

Default pin 35 should be yellow/blue not grey yellow.

Default i have tried pin 35, no dice, without starting the car on sensor check it would go from

0.003v to 2v, but then the car is running, it either shows 0% or 100% there is no inbetween

Default are you sure you are tapping the correct wire? There are tons of them in that bundle and it would..

be easy to tap the wrong one.

Have you tried using a continuity tester from pin 35 to the wire you tapped just to make sure it's the correct one?

Default you need a "continuity tester" - any Home Depot type place would have one....

it will cost you $5.

Basically, it's an alligator clip with a pointed spike on the other end. When there is continuity between the ends, the light goes on.

You'd need to splice into the wire you think is the right wire, then touch the other end to pin 35 on the harness - if the light goes on, you have the right wire.

You need to make sure you have tapped the right one before doing anything else IMO.

Default Did you get it figured out? I had this info in an e-mail from Donnie - thought it might help....

35 = yellow/blue stripe = throttle pedal position

37 = green/blue stripe = engine speed

54 = white/blue strip = vehicle speed

1 = brown = ground

2 = brown = ground

3 = blue/black stripe??(IIRC, pin # _is_ correct) = IGN 12V+ from fuel pump relay
