Default Any good sources for the Penske Coil over setup?

Or will Stasis Track Sports do the trick? Thoughts? Opinions?

Default The spring rates that I'm interested in are 600lb fr and 700 r for occassional...

track use. Does that warrant the Penskes or will the track sport be sufficient. I'm looking for an arguement to support the extra $1K.

Default I love mine (bought Jacob's used kit) and I too had the Koni/Intrax before

For what it's worth Al at CPT installed my kit and did a corner balance (his first experience with the Startup Penske kit) and he described it as close to perfect. His shop specializes in b5 a4/s4 work so he's got a lot of experience with the various suspension kits available for them. I can only compare it to stock and the koni/intrax, and I have very limited experience with the tracksports (only brief rides/never driven myself) but it absolutely transformed the car.
There's a chance I'll be driving down to NC (RTP area) within the next month or so (visiting the family and considering driving from Chicago). If you'd be interested in meeting up let me know.

Default Save your $, I can't imagine for your use you wouldn't be happy with H&R Streets or Tracksports

Default Why would Penskes be anymore "perfect" than another kit for the install?

All use the stock mounting points. I'm not talking about the quality of the ride, or anything related to performance. The ability to corner balance one coilover kit to the next should be the same, all else being equal.

Default Startup Racing is the only place to get them. They have spent a great deal of time...

putting together a system to meet most anyone's needs. Take it from someone who has had both setups in question...The Penske's are in a different league (depending on your needs, i.e. price, performance, street vs track, etc...)

Default I had a chance to really test the Penske's abilities on the track and they are exceptional.

Default One thing, you don't have to drill the bearing bracket like with tracksports. Not sure what else.
