Default Does anyone here have good instructions on how to take out the climate control unit?

Default with the ashtrey out you don't need to put those screwdrivers in and scratch anything

also looks like when the radio is out you can push from behind the climate ctrl.

Default Yeah. IIRC, all that's left to do in that pic is push from behind the cc unit.

Default Yes, push it out! That's how it's done. Pull radio, push out from behind.

Default I don't think there's anything holding it in but four clips. Feel around top/back of it...

I don't know if anything needs to be reprogrammed if it's disconnected though??? I want to try myself, but am afraid that the trim might have to be moved also???

Default There is nothing else. You will just have to unplug it of course. DON'T BE AFFRAID! :)

No need for any sort of reprogramming either.
