Default LI-S4 does another amazing job - V1 display for wife's A6 2.7T

I have a toy guy stealth which was done year's ago (I have a 2000 S4) and I recenlty purchased a V1 for her because she said "I need one of those cop thingies like you have." Anyhow, I get her the V1 and she wants the stealth display as well. So I send off to LI-S4 to see if he can source an A6 model for me and he can. The only difficult thing is the color because her A6 has a light brown trim. He told me he will do the best he can. I ship off to him. Within a few days he tells me to go to ACE Hardware to look at colors which he feels best match the trim -- he gave me the paint codes he and his wife liked (I guess it's a family affair) but wanted my input. I didn't have an ACE close by so I told him to just go with what he thought was best. He then painted and sent me test photos for me to approve. I did and he sent back to me. The whole process was so meticulous and made me feel so at ease if you think you want to have him do this for you, you can't go wrong. Lots of communication along the whole process. Well worth the money!!!

Default Me too. However, I need to find a different location because Lidatek diode...

is occupying the same area.

Default Holy Bat Signal!! I would use a smaller LED for that...maybe tuck it under the V1 display..

Default I've looked into that..

I have learned to rely on the arrows in the simple V1 display...although you get used to anything in time, that requires too much deciphering for my eyes. When the V1 goes off I don't want to take time to figure out what that display is telling me... but again, it would probably make sense if I used it all the time.

Default I would get rid of that light...

1. It's bright and distracting.
2. It occupies a space that could be put to better use (V1 remote display).
3. It's superfluous if you have the audible alarm attached, and you have a V1. You already get two audible warnings and one visible warning. What do you need with another light?

Throw it in the glovebox or something...in case you ever need to double check to make sure it's operating. Short of that, it serves little purpose.
