Default it sounded like the caliper was spinning around the wheel.

I asked mike if he test drove it. He said when he was about to back it out of his drive to test drive it he heard the noise and knew right away. That is how bad it was.

Default it happened so quick. I drove it for 2 days(under 70miles) making noise. Then it was not standable.

Default Guess they don't always just make noise. :-/

Any sign of what actually caused the bearing to fail in the first place?

Default dude thats nothing, i rebuilt the wheel bearings in my 300zx TT after the wheel pretty much locked

up and the squeal was so loud it almost broke all the house windows around it...

it wrecked my spindle as well.....
