Default got my k04s back today.. tested the wastgates..

Background Info: My turbos has gotten out of sync and I was thinking I had a WG or actuator problem. I pulled the engine about a month ago to find a leak between the turbine housing and the center cartridge. I sent them out to Innovative to have them rebuilt. I got them back today and they look great!

I set up this rig to test the crack pressure of the wastegates and insure that they are in sync. The wierd thing is that the exposed thread on the acutator arms are pretty different: the drivers side is 16.36mm and the passenger side is 14.55mm. The difference is about 2 full threads. The wategates seem to be in sync when I test them but should I work about this much difference in the adjustment.

I have a 20 second video of the wastegates opening and closing if anyone can post it. = )

Default If the "Cracking Pressure(psi when the wg puck first moves)" is the same

the amount of threads doesn't really matter.

Nice O2 sensor kit BTW.

Default so the valve needs to resist ~ 20 psi so there has to be some preload I would think

Default Jeff, long time no see, you gonna be at WMS this weekend? It would be nice if you could come down to

the Orange County meet, but I know that might be a stretch.
