Default Ohlins dampers - this time with hemispherical bearings.

Out on Saturday, back on Tuesday. Not bad service!! Thanx Ohlins USA.

These need slightly different spacers to fit the lower suspension mounting bolts. Jason just this second called me to tell me that STaSIS had already custom made a set of stainless steel spacers and was sending them out today. I didn't even have to ask! Thanx Jason and STaSIS.

I shall be very interested to see how the hemispherical bearings handle, feel and sound -- and last. :-)

Stephen

Default I wonder if it would be in your best interest to run a thin bead of silicone along the

joint between the outer race and the aluminum body since there is no more movement between those? Obviously there will be no expansion problems between both steel pieces, but the difference betweent he steel and the alum. seems to be were your having your issues. If it is ralated to moisture seeping in there a sealer should/would solve that issue

Default They are not a press-fit. They are held in by a clip. So there is room for expansion.

Plus they are stainless steel.
