Default RS4 clutch SAC masters- my clutch enagement point seems to be moving higher in my pedal travel..

Is this normal? Maybe I am just being paranoid with all the recent RS4 SAC problems. Have about 2600 miles on this RS4 clutch.

Default If your SAC is not adjusted properly you will know it

The last 2 inches of pedal travel got really hard. The car was also dificult to put into first gear. On top of that the clutch slipped like crazy. It was pretty obvious something was not right. Now that I have a properly set-up clutch I KNOW my old one wasn't installed right.

Default The top 2" or the bottom 2" (near the floor)?

Default Higher is good. Release should be at half to 1/3 of the travel from top.

Default how about 20-25% of the travel from top?

Default Think that's probably fine. If the SAC was loose when installed the release point would be very low

in the pedal, disc/clutch would likely be dragging as well, makes it hard to get in gear. Mine has 2.5K on it and still feels a little "waxy" on cold mornings... guessing I could accelerate the wear process with some hard launches to remove the sealer. Feels/holds well though.
