Default Update on Vast/RS4 clutch

I know some people where interested in this clutch, figured I'd post up an Update. I've driven the car in just about every environment, snow, rain, dry weather, highway, backroads and city... all within this past week. I have about 450 miles on it so far so it's pretty much broken in.

I have to say, this clutch is great. Its still a little grabby at times, usually when its cold, after sitting outside all night, but its not bad. Im still getting used to the pedal feel and engagment point with a properly adjusted SAC so its probably partly me as well. It feels VERY good though. Its not on/off by any means and it grabs pretty hard. I don't doubt that it will hold whatever power I throw at it. I've ripped on it a few times in the past day or so and didn't have any problems what so ever.

Very easy to drive around town as well. The engagment is a little shorter than stock (grabs quicker) but its very easy to get used to. Its hard for me to compare to the RS4 because of the misadjusted SAC, but drivability seems to be about the same. Over all, its a great clutch, can't go wrong with it. Big thanks to Mike and Kurt again :-)

Default i never doubted it's driveability...I'm really curious to see how it would do under high power apps.

not saying your car is low power..hehe...

But you know what I mean... Full stage3/3+

Default Ginnea pigs is where its at duuude!

The clutch seems to grab like hell. I sure it will hold stage 3 power easily. Seems to be a lot more "solid" than the Rs4. Stage 3+... not sure. Depends on what you are going for. IIRC Mike2kS4 has the same clutch and it seems like his is hold close to 600hp pretty well.

Default awesome....that might be the ticket when my SPEC sh!ts it! So far so good...

Had a bad throw out bearing go a few months ago, but now its cool. Its wierd though cause it seems these kevlar clutches like to be driven hard....the harder I drive it the harder it grabs.
