Default Stage 2+ Shift Points

I have seen this asked before so here it is. I did this last year with my Stage 2- but here it is revised (sort of) for Stage 2+ on 100 octane. I doubt the octane level would change it much if any as you are not looking at absolute numbers, just relative.

1 - 2 Redline (7k revs or close to it)
2 - 3 6250 RPM
3 - 4 5875 RPM

This is based on the following dyno chart for the relative numbers and the following data:

Dyno Plot

Default What does Effective Torque represent? Calculated/estimated figures based on the post-shift RPMs?

Default The effective torque after the shift...

Since the gearing advantage is reduced after the shift you need to calculate what the theoretical torque would be. I use the gearing reduction ratio to calculate the effective torque at the RPM point the revs would drop to after the shift.

Default Nice! Now take it to the track and get 12's. :)

Silver Dollar > Commerce.

Or so I hear.

Default I hope 12's are possible, they should be with the right conditions.

Commerce is certainly closer and a nicer track. But it does seem most run a little quicker at Silver Dollar. It is just that 2.5 hour drive that gets me. I can be at Atlanta Dragway in a little over an hour.

One nice thing about Silver Dollar is the lack of crowds.
