I am getting distortion in my left front speaker (almost like an FM station that isn't quite tuned in). This happens no matter the source be it radio, CD or tape and is very low level so doesn't increase when the system voluem is turned up. But at normal listening levels, it is awful. Oddly it seem to get better in warmer weather or when the car is warm inside. I'm told it's likely the amplifer. Where is the amp located in a 2001 S4 sedan and is it easy to replace?
Thanks! |

Not sure what *ding* means but I don't see it in the trunk under the carpet. I'll keep looking. Thanks.
