Default Has NE1 used the Phenolic Intake Spacers from ASP? Results? I saw them listed in...

in the GT25r2 project and was already curious about them.

Default i use the ones from VAST, i know the ASP ones are similar

and my super techinal report is that before the spacers, after hard driving the intake manifold would be hot to the touch, like way to hot to hold your hand on. after the spacers, it isnt, it is damn near cool compared to the ambient air escaping the engine bay.

bravo, they work as advertised. oh and my car has a bipipe and it all fits fine.

Default Mmm...I have ASP phenolics and I can't use the two bipipe screws...

and Vast's phenolics are thicker. Were you able to use the screws? Not that they are needed or anything, just curious...

Default No, can't use them. Everything is very secure, though. I've had this setup (VAST spacers+bipe) for

a LONG time and not a single issue. You have nothing to worry about without those screws IMHO.

Default ASP are thinner, iirc. don't know if that will make a big diff in their heat isolation.
