Default ok, let the keyboard tooning begin - from the little I've seen, I'd rather have a K04-based car...

... on a track with turns.

Discuss/flame away.

Default if i was starting FRESH with a stock car, i would go ASP.

many of us pieced mods together to get a final stage 3 car. but in the end the money into the project is nearly the same.

but to "upgrade" to the ASP kit is not going to happen for me. i think i will quite happy with K04s. but again if i had a fresh stock S4 to work with it, no question i would go with the ASP kit.

Default Just means you have to adjust accordingly going in and coming out of turns for the lag. Even with

K04's you have to do that. But you know that I'm sure as you lap me on the track!

Default I wonder if Mark disables the brake-throttle cut

could make a huge difference!

You going to TH? I'm most likely not going to make it unfortunately...

Default A good driver can keep the car in the power band with a number of techniques....

gear selection, rev matching/heel toe shifting, left foot braking, etc... The track presents the element of (to quote a Pirelli ad), "Power is nothing without control". Projekt GT25r2 will be set up with PENSKES, STOPTECH 4 Wheel 6-piston (front) brakes, and already has a Stasis differential. I hope to take it to the track frequently and should be able to round up some talented drivers to help answer your proposed question.

Default different kits for different people / needs :)

believe me though, there is minimal lag in that car for the power it has.

honest question, asking because i have no idea - how often are you under 3k on a track?

Default No T-Hill for me either. How 'bout Laguna? I'll be there. Also...

and I don't know if this works. But a rodent found on this board once told me that by hitting the ESP button does NOT completely shut if off. But if you pull up on the e-brake one click it fools the car into thinking it's not moving, therefore disabling the ESP. Not sure if that's true (or even safe) or not. Never tried it.
