Default Dyno Pull Shows Rich

We had an Atlanta area dyno session last Saturday and I still can't determine if these A/F numbers are correct.

mbox did a log and they showed somewhat rich throughout which is somewhat supported here. But the major drop between 3500 and 5000 RPM is what surprises me. It goes very rich but doesn't see to reflect this significantly in the torque. To me the torque curve looks about normal for the modifications and going this rich should have made a noticeable drop in torque.

Anyway, the car as it sits has GIAC X, piggy pipes and Borla exhaust. I was running 100 octane and the dyno seemed to be a bit generous this day. But all in all, there is enough there to get into the 12's...

Default Did they use a tailpipe sniffer o2 sensor? The cats will skew things to the rich side.

Default Yes, tail pipe sensor but no pump system...

Just a WBO2 sensor in a mock up pipe in the stream. I also thought it would skew readings as well but it should do it somewhat linearly across the RPM band.

This was a change in a cretain RPM range only. The rest looked to be about where it shoudl be. For reference, my O2 voltages were in the 0.910 VDC range...

Default Yep, you're pretty rich. Check out this lambda/02 sensor voltage post--->

Default Yes. The cats tend to combine any loose o2 molecules with carbon or hydrogen.
