Default What size drill bit would give me the same diameter that a wheel bolt has? Eh?

Explained it kinda of ****ty in the title. I'm looking for a drill bit that will give me the required width needed to fit a stock wheel bolt into a wheel. Need to enlarge the holes in my new wheels. I thank you guys in advance.

Default 2nd, its not like drilling through a block of wood.....

i'd imagine you'd want a good press, a good bit, and some confidence in yourself to do that...

Default Not doing them myself, just want to know the size so I can get a bit for the shop. I'm anal...

I want to make sure the size is exact and I figured I'd ask AW before anyone else.

Default can't you just compare to one of the wheels that's on your car?

Default I don't really feel like bringing an Avus wheel to Home Depot and matching up drill bits. ;)

Default If you are taking it to a shop, they should be able to find out for you.

Default i think they are M12 or M14...

so if the nominal shank diameter is 14mm, 14/25.4=.551 inches.

so drill the hole out with a 9/16" (best) or 5/8" drill.

if they're M12, just redo the calc. for that
