Default Autospeed Projekt GT25r initial impressions...(long)

I took the two and half hour trip up from Maryland to visit the beast and let me just say...Holy s@#t!
Mark popped the hood and I proceeded to look for signs of the evil that lurks within only to find the engine looks stock except for the beautifully crafted X-1 airbox. After pointing out the TiAL Wastegates tucked back behind the engine near the fire wall, Mark turned the key to fire up the beast. The car started flawlessly and settled into a smooth idle. At this point I wondered whether the Garrett's were really in there. I hopped in an we proceeded to drive around locally so that we could warm up the motor and turbos. Amazing...the car was smooth as butter...No hiccups, stutters, or anything eluding to hesitation. Finally, after the engine rose to operating temp, the pedal went in and my organs went backwards. At this point Mark claimed it was only 75% throttle. Then...a couple of more turns and we hit a straight away.
1st gear...full throttle, 2nd, 3rd, (truck in front of us around a mile away approaching like a meteor in hyperdrive), 4th gear and my brain is pinned to the back of my head. Being a man of little outward emotion, the only thing I could yelp was "HOLY ****"! The car pulls from 3K to redline and just keeps building and building surpassing KO4's in a couple hundred rpms. <grin ear to ear>
Mark then jumped out of the driver seat (my poor Stoptech brakes were screaming) and put me in the driver seat. The main thing I want to judge after the power was drivability since this car will see the track often. The car is as smooth as the MTM Stage 5 software I started with only with an insane more amount of power.
My final impressions are this...
The car is ballistic. The only thing I can compare it to is a fully built 944 Turbo Widebody with 450RWHP that I test drove in Phoenix, but much more manageable power especially with the all wheel drive.
I think we now have a new era and level of B5 S4 performance. To answer the big questions;

Price-Whatever the price tag comes out to be...IT IS SO WORTH IT!
LAG-It is a non issue and is very comparable to KO4's. The only thing that skews this is the amount of peak power that keeps building never lets up. It surpasses KO4's so quickly like a freight train.
Reliability-Can't really comment too much on this one, but by all the necessary measurements the engine is not showing any signs of pushing any limits.

I am sure everyone will hear so much more about the car in the near future. I am one happy man! ))))))

Default Sounds great. I can't wait to see the data.

I'm most impressed by the spool: That must have taken some work to achieve with 1.35l.
