Default would 100 octane produce a noticable power increase on a GIAC stage 2...

finally found a 100 octane pump. thinkin about using it this weekend instead of 91 craptane

Default yes, you will see timing improvement until about 96 octane, IIRC. Obviously, XR will give you the..

most performance improvement but, your butt dyno should be sensative enough to pick up the improvement on plain old X (providing you've recently calibrated your butt)

Default Mix it 60/40 with 91.

Supposed the X chip will advance timing to a certain extent. IIRC, that limitation was about 97 octane, but STFA and you'll probably find the correct answer. Anyway, it's worth trying, but if you increase the octane level beyond that threshold, you're wasting money.
