Default Anyone had success with aftermarket kits that run an iPod through the stock Bose system?

What did you use? Am I better off disconnecting the 6 disc changer in the trunk, or is it easier to to have the iPod take the place of the single disc in-dash player?

Default Dension IceLink plus is amazing.

Very easy to install, clear CD-quality sound, and I personally love to use the iPod's standard format (not the dension playlist method). All you need is that and a nice dock and you're set.

I am running the dension ice link plus with ipod mini. sound is flawless. u can control the ipod with the stock radio's radio presets.

playlist 1 = preset 1
playlist 2 = preset 2
etc.

but no display on the audi radio of the ipod song info.

Default Search archives for Blitzsafe adaptor or Dension. I use Blitzsafe, but think Dension is nicer.

Default 2nd.... got the Icelink Plus and love it

took about an hour to install just because I had problems with getting the stock headunit out and how I mounted the cradle. One of my favorite mods.

Default Yea pulling the head unit is the hardest part. Those removal keys can be tricky.

Default Do I have to get the removal keys from a dealership, or is there somewhere else I can find them?
