Default some random pics.... $5.06 maf housing and other cheap goodness inside...

So the elcheapo maf housing has been on with a new sensor and intake setup for a few days now. Car has never ran better. Got it locked down to 12.5 A/F tapering to 12:1 after 7000rpms, killer timing and super safe CF and KSV all on pump (laptop is forked, no logs, since I know some will ask. will get a FATS run and some logs asap). By using some scrap 4 inch thinwall tubing from my old turbo diesel exhaust and some really overkill silicon couplers made for diesel turbos that see over 100 psi (funny side note, i couldnt find 4" I.D. couplers anywhere local. all places to order them from where about $32 each for 3" sections. go this at the Semi supply shop for $19.50 per foot) so over all cost for this setup including the new AEM Dryflow 4" cone filter that is oil free to prevent damage to the sensor was $66.56.

some pics:

These new filters from AEM are badass, very very high quality design... NO more oil!!!!!!!

The glorious HD 88mm maf housing.

hmmm, whats going on in the red circle?

mandatory matching wheel and y-pipe shot, i am such a ricer.

btw- car is filthy, has been raining and snowing all week. otherwise i would get some daytime shots with the new seats mmmmm kevlar

Default Wow, it actually looks good. I'd love to see some more on this DIY mod.

Stage 3 intake for $66?!?!?! Holy schnikes, Batman!

Default The duct tape will peel the moment it gets hot. Buy some thermotec tape or adhesive spray

Default the duct tape will get all gooey, i feel that while simple, the standard evo
