Default Stage 3 curious N00b - Four True or False Questions for Experts...

1) If I go GIAC 3- code with KO4s I will not need MBC or TCD with my setup...I'll only need 5 bar FPR? True / False

2) If I have GIAC 3- code and decide to upgrade my fueling with larger MAF and different injectors (greentops for example), the 3- code is useless and I would need to pay for GIAC Stage 3 software? True / False

3) If I want to use Lemmiwinks to tweak my K03 software for K04s, I need to get rid of my Flashloader software for an older version of GIAC X chip? True / False

4) If I don't plan to tweak at all once I'm K04'd, my best bet would be to go with either GIAC 3- code, Piggie Homebrew or AWE Fueling solution? True / False

These are just some quick questions after reviewing EdyJun's Directory. Sorry for the n00bness...just getting ready for the next evolution of the S this coming year. TIA!

Default Not as simple as true/false for all of them....

1.) True 100%

2.) 3- code is worthless for a homebrew stage 3 setup. You can use a standard K03 X chip for homebrew or use a stage 3 kit (AWE for example) along with the kit's specific hardware.

3.) Any K03 X chip will work AFAIK...so false.

4.) If you don't want to tweak, homebrew is not for you unless you have piggie do all the work including tweaking it. Otherwise, an off the shelf kit is for you (3- GIAC or go with full fueling kit like AWE/APR/etc).

Default 1. true 2. true 3. false 4. kinda true (more)...

if you dont want to tweak stay away from homebrew - it isnt for you. go with GIAC 3- code, AWE fueling or APR fueling

Default lol here is my take .. (like you don't already know it ;p )

1) true

2)false.. you'll most likely need to buy the entire kit ..and you'll get the upgraded program on your flash, but it might work other ways too.

3)false

4) true - 3- code or full awe stg3 .. for piggie stg 3 you'll need tweaking.

Default Your simple responses aren't 100% accurate IMO. I can understand what you mean, but not a n00b.
