Default Looks like BorgWarner is pushing some cool tech into the upcoming Porsche!

It's about time they got these workign properly with gasoline motors. They were very unreliable in the past but hopefully that was worked out.

We should try to get a pair of these onto an S4.

Default That's awesome, been waiting for someone to utilize VTG. Single turbo on a Porsche?

Default Nice writing

"the higher exhaust gas temperatures created by gasoline engines necessitated the creation of new heat-resistant materials to handle the hotness"

Hotness? Who wrote this thing? :-)

Default Meh, Chrysler did that 15 yrs ago on the 2.2l as "VNT" turbos but all the "built" ones

threw them away for bigger stationary turbines.

Default AWSOME engineering. It's about time. The future of forced induction.

Default But Chrysler was never able to deal with the carbon build up problem

and it has been around on diesels for 10-15 years.
