Default Fueling Upgrade needed again?

I was discussing this with Mike Moore over email..

I currently have 42# Greentops @ 4BAR with a 88mm ID MAF Housing, Walbro fuelpump... So a total of 510cc/min for each injector. I'm at 120%+ Duty Cycle, 02 around 0.88.. The car is fast (Sub 3sec FATS at this temperature) already but it seems it could do even better.

The suggested route would be using 60# Siemens @ 2.7BAR... so if my calculations are ok, it would translate into 597cc/min : ((3 bar/2.7 bar)^(0.5)) * 60# * 10.5 ; is that right?

I'm far from being a fueling expert but is this setup sufficient? Anybody is running on this? what about idle?

Default why not 42# + 5 bar?

you might need more fuel if you are going for crazy numbers though.

Default well you will need more than you have now i would say. i know it has been discussed here

about whether or not the duty cycle is truly accurate, but for my money i would run on the safe side and swap out the green tops for the siemens. 120% is just too much for my paranoid brain

Default thats what i'd go with as well - delphi makes a 44lb and a 50lb injector if you dont want to go

quite to 60lbs

not sure how optimal the spray patterns on those are though.

Default 120% for me also is just plain silly...

The car is producing crazy numbers for sure, the port/polish job helping... And I can boost more with the K24 that's the worst of it. I can't imagine the car when it will be 0F outside. 2.5 sec FATS are possible.

Default Yep... Nobody talks about spray patterns... :( This is an important factor as well.

Default Delphi has a decent spray pattern...

Not quite as nice as the RS4's but better than the greentops. No clue about the siemans.

Default Wideband is your friend.

See if the car is actually running lean and don't just rely on what the ECU is trying to do.

Default IIRC the spray patterns on the 44# and 50# delphis are different than the pattern on the 42# ones
