Is it just better to ceramic coat (or buy vasts) xhaust manifolds? do you run any risks of doing such...
I know very little about exhaust wrap and you never hear about it being done... anyway, please enlighten me... |

i wrapped the lower inlet pipes that go into the snout with reflective heat tape.

The wrap just ends up falling off the tape and the pipes look horrid IMO. But I'd like to see if anyone actually gets noticable gains doing this...no really I would.

what if it dropped IAT's by 2 degrees.....is it worth it? That's up to user i guess.
But on the port/polished/coated exhaust mani subject i would argue that there are noticeable gains...both in reduced spoolup and reduced underhood temps. |
