1) Do you feel or think that it would be easier if you pull the LCD off?
2) Or it really didn't matter because the shoe polish went on fine out of the foam pad? 3) Did you use any other means of getting the polish into some of the tight/small cracks? 4) If you had to do it over what/how would you do to make it better?

It would seem that the paint would cover up the numbers & buttons?

I just worked on mine the other night...I actually took off the spongy thing that the shoe polish comes off of and applied the polish on the pad- worked better for me because I could control where the polish was on the sponge. Also, easiery IMO to get into the cracks, etc.
Have a soft wash cloth or something to buff off the polish. I have applied three times now...I think my next application, I will let it sit for a while longer. Haven't done this yet...but, you may want to pick up some lcd cleaner, incase you get a little polish on the screen. The cleaner will take it off really easily. MAKE SURE you have a super soft micro fiber towel!!! Don't want any scratches!! Sorry- don't have pics yet. |
