Default Finally finished installing X1-Racer CF Airbox *More inside with pictures*Long

First of all, thank you so much to Jon (X1-Racer) sending me this wonderful piece of art and Piggie for the silicon hose to the exact size that I needed!

I have done some preliminary logs on before and after the air box there are 3 things I found out:

1. Airflow does improve, before the airbox usually i can get 254g/s at 6500rpm, after putting the airbox been getting 261g/s at 6500rpm. (also compare the whole rpm range from 3500rpm to 5000rpm average about 3~5g/s increase on airflow north side of 5k rpm 5~7g/s

2. Physical test, after 45mins of driving(some stop and go traffic): before the airbox the neck of the filter, the metal part is so damn hot, it would burn my finger, after the airbox all the enviorments are the same I can grab the filter neck without burning my fingers if I were to put temp as a reference I would guess >150f vs <80.

3. Throttle respond, now this one I dont have any data to back it up but butt dyno tells me on increasing rpm the car is smoother it doesnt have a sudden jerk say when i step on it hard it climbs fast smooth.

Side note: have tried a few different position of the filter itself, and have done a few logs back to back seems like the best position of the filter to get the most airflow is sit it higher closer to the hood liner. When i first got the ITG filter I tried to tuck it nicely in the hole where the OG airbox is but once i reposition it let it sit higher closer to the hood liner, immediatly i got better airflow! Now I dont know why may be someone can help explaining the theory to me! TIA

All right enough bull**** here are the pictures (please excuse my picture taking skills and poor lighting just want to get the pictures up as soon as i could!
