Default what are the symptoms for a bad tranny, bad clutch, bad slave cyl .. ?

my tranny is not getting better .. now that is cold really is a pain to put in gear , and if i don't get to drive it pretty fast (highway speeds) shifting in ANY gear from a stand still is not easy .. i usually try one of the higher gears before i put in 1-st ..it alsmost feels like once it goes in a gear it aligns everything (this while holding the cluch down) ..
this is just killing me .

Default You sure the resurfacing got both surfaces? Or aftermarket FW? My RS4 clutch has

a pop in the pedal travel you can feel when cold, like a binding spring in the basket, but it goes away after a few miles. Stays away while the clutch is warm... worried a bit at first, fvck it, if it breaks I'll yank it and fix. My car is very driveable though... yours doesn't sound too good. Lemme know.

Default yep resurfaced well

the contact part and the thin edge .. looked good, and it's holding well too. the cluch travel is smooth and it engages about 1/2 way somewhere.
i have problems putting in gear only from a stand still, when i go to put it in any gear.. it feels like the clutch is not fully disengaged .. esp when cold( a lot of drag there) .. once i drive on the highway and get it warmed up the damn thing works good. i'll change the tranny oil today and see if that will do better (motul 300 gl4/5) .
when it's acting up (pretty often lately) and i go to bump it in gate of 3-rd , i can feel that bump in the whole car (like it jumps a bit - similar to those huge dump truck ).
